This is what we will be focusing on for the month of September and  October

Writing: 
-Review paragraph writing basics. 
Students will review writing strategies to help them create well-developed paragraphs. Our goal is to write with purpose and focus. Quality over quantity.



Reading Comprehension: Self Monitoring / Fix-Up Strategies 

Students will be practicing the use of Fix-Up Strategies (read sentences around the word or look to see if the author has provided definition) to help improve fluency and understanding of the text.
